Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

Life Before Thomas Jefferson High School

I started my post-graduate career working for the City and County of Denver in the Office of Economic Development. This was an amazing experience where my team and I outreached to Denver youth and supported them in breaking down barriers and getting them on the path to employment. After successfully placing 75+ youth on paths or directly to jobs, I started a role with Aurora Public Schools as a College and Career Coordinator where I helped students in all aspects to their post-secondary journey. While I might be starting my first year at TJ during one of the most interesting times in education, I am excited to be bringing these experiences in creating career exposure opportunities for students.
